The Dutton Commander was based on the Ford Fiesta Mk4.
Dutton did import the Mk4 from Belgium and striped them to the bone, then he builded them into the self colour GRP structure.

The where full 4 seaters with storage room behind the folding rear seats, under the rear seats, in both doors and glove box in the dashboard.

The drive shafts are fitted with stainless steel bearings with double rubber seals to keep the water out.

The under water exhaust is made from stainless steel with a perforated steel tube silencer.
The start engine is powerful enough to turn the engine over AND push the water out even before the engine starts and blows the rest of the water out.
